Hiking approximately 1.5 miles off I-84 into the Columbia River Gorge for a few good shots is always worth the trouble. Going in with two studio lights, stands, modifiers, a lot of extension cord, standard camera equipment and power pack - equivalent to a car battery - intensifies that trouble quite a lot. I still say it was worth it and look forward to doing a return trip. Perhaps the next time I go out on such a shoot a hiker will pass by bewildered.
