Here is the expedition spoken of in yesterday’s post. Munra Point is situated slightly west of the Bonneville Dam in the Columbia River Gorge. The hike itself is rather brutal and inflicted some pain to one whom accompanied me, Abby Horton, but the views from atop the point were spectacular. With wildflowers and steep rugged ridges to sightings of Mt. Adams I feel Munra Point is a hidden gem few venture. Abby recapped our hike nicely on her own blog. You can read it here.
