Update: 05.04.09

As summer approaches, and with it warmer more pleasant conditions, so does a rise in photographic activity. From shooting small to large product and poster sized promotional shoots the last week has been full of great advancement and opportunities to head down new avenues. Amongst such changes are seriously debating a conversion of camera gear and diving into video production yet again. Little to no other information will be said about that subject for the time being, though more details on the matter will be revealed in the next couple of weeks.
What can be shared immediately is a decision on recurring posts. They are as follows. Mondays are devoted to reportage and will focus attention on artists, musicians and other creative individuals with the goal of bringing to light some of the Pacific NW’s wonderful unseen talent. Wednesdays will be simple but beautiful displays of emotional portraiture open to many possibilities. Photo Of The Week takes Friday’s spot, presenting landscape and fine art photography.
Standard news updates and other posts not pertaining to the above categories will continue to be updated regularly as well, including today’s. The above photo is a slide taken from the archives and is an image of Raymond Holk in the Oregon Cascades wood cutting during the spring of 2008.
